v  Process Transaction:

Ø  Yes: Turns on the processing feature for Credit Card Capture.  If yes is not selected the Authorize.net feature is off.

Ø  No:  When No is selected the Authorize.net feature is off and will not process communications with Authorize.net

v  User ID and Transaction key: will be supplied by Authorize.net when you create an account with them.

v  Test Mode:  This allows you to test the credit card transaction communication between the ShopKart and Authorize.net.  While in test mode no charges will be processed by Authorize.net

v  Processing Type:

Ø  Authorize and Capture:  This will authorize/capture the credit card number and processes a transaction for the order amount at the time the order is placed.   If the order is canceled or for some reason you cannot fill the order.  The charges will have to be reimbursed causing a second round of processing fees.

Ø  Authorize Only: allows you to review and complete an order before processing the credit card charges.  When this is selected the card information is transmitted to Authorize.net and is added to a queue waiting for you to process (Requires you to login to Authorize.net management system to process.)
