To display the product details for a line item simply click on the Display Product Details button at the top of the maintain order line item screen.
NOTE:
This button may only be clicked after a product has been selected. If no product has been selected in the
product pull-down list you will get an error message. The product details that will be displayed
will be based upon the product selected in the product pull-down list.

Once you click on the Display Product Details, a window will pop up showing the product details for the product (See Working with Products) selected:

The Display Product Details screen has two tabs on it, the first tab is the product details which shows the product information such as the name of the product, size of product, descriptions, warehouse name and location, supplier pricing, etc. The production notes tab provides information about any production notations or instructions that have been created for this product. |
NOTE:
When you do open up the product details, use
caution to not show this screen to the customer because it does show the
product cost of the
line item. This window will show you the line item in more detail to ensure you
have the correct line item.
