Internet E-Mail Setup

The Internet E-Mail setup tab is used to setup your e-mail communications within BizWizard Order Manager™.  Click on the Internet E-Mail Setup tab in Configuration | System Setup to open the following screen:

On this screen the first drop down list is the Reply To/Signature.  You have two choices

v  Company – If you select this all e-mails sent out will have a single e-mail address that all e-mail communications within Order Manager are sent from.

v  Reply to Name:  Enter the name that will appear in the “from” section of e-mails being sent.

v  Reply to Address:  Enter the reply to e-mail address you wish to use.

v  E-Mail Signature Line:  Enter your E-Mail Signature that will appear at the end of each e-mail sent out.

v  Associate – If you select this option, e-mails will be sent out from the Associate logged into Order Manager.  The e-mail address, reply to name and address and the Signature line information are setup in the Associates | All Associates section of Order Manager.

The next section to the right is the Automated Order E-Mails section that allows you to configure BizWizard Order Manager to send out e-mails when an order is triggered complete and shipped.  There is also an option to set a time to send an automated Follow-Up e-mail after X days to thank your customer for using your company.

v  Send/Queue Initialization Section

Ø  Send Option – This sends automated e-mails as you trigger an order complete or when it is shipped per your selection criteria in the Automated Order E-Mails section.  The workstation screen will be tied up until sending is complete.

Ø  Queue Option – This creates an e-mail and puts it into a queued screen that you can send at a later time thus freeing up your workstation more quickly.  This can be useful if you do not want to wait for the system to send e-mails right away, allowing you to send all queued e-mails when your computer system will be available.  To send the queued e-mails you can click on the Outgoing Queued E-Mails option at the bottom right area of all main screens.

The bottom left and right sections of the internet E-Mail Setup tab is where you will input your SMTP and POP3 server settings.  You will need to contact your Internet service provider for this information.

Once the Internet E-Mail section is setup correctly, you will be able to effectively communicate via e-mail with your customer’s information about their orders, send invoices and statements via e-mail and a host of other information to keep your customers informed.
